The Polish Wind Energy Association is a non-governmental organization established in 1999. PWEA is an organization supporting and promoting the development of wind energy, whose purpose, pursued through joint activity of its members, is to create advantageous conditions for investment in wind energy in Poland and to systematically increase the use of wind energy as a clean source of electricity.
Regional Centre for Innovation and Technology Transfer operates within the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin. The Centre was established in 2008 on the basis of International Programmes Office functioning since 1999. RCIiTT conducts counseling and training services for companies, researches, students and university graduates in the field of technology transfer, funding researches and development and supporting academic entrepreneurship.

With a view to establish favourable business and corporate development conditions, Szczecin is dedicated to ensuring an efficient local investors service, cooperating in both operational and substantive terms with Government institutions and private companies (such as the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency, special economic zones, business institutions and consulting companies). Investors are provided with the necessary information and assisted throughout the investment process. They can choose from various forms of assistance, aimed at facilitating the setting up or expansion of economic activity in Szczecin. The Investors and Business Assistance Department is in charge of:
- Providing essential information on the investments implemented in the City;
- Organising meetings with the President of Szczecin, representatives of substantive departments of Szczecin City Hall, entrepreneur organisations, the County Employment Office, business institutions and academic centres;
- Cooperating with developers in the field of commercialising office facilities in the City;
- Providing assistance in selecting real property tailored to investors’ needs;
- Supervising document circulation in connection with investment procedures;
- Preparing investment portfolios;
- Promoting investor’s contracts;
- Providing assistance in selecting future employees;
- Conducting promotional activities.
Investors’ and Exporters’ Assistance Center (IAC) is located in Szczecin, within the structures of the Marshal’s Office of the Westpomeranian Region. Its main task is to support investors and exporters, but also to promote the Westpomeranian Region. The IAC is the first contact point for foreign entrepreneurs interested in investing in West Pomerania and for those who plan the export activities.
Our Centre provides a professional service, free of charge, including advice in the choice of investment location, arranging contacts with business partners but also legal assistance. Investors’ and Exporters’ Assistance Center cooperates with Ministry of Economy, the Trade and Investment Promotion Sections in Embassies and Consulates of the Republic of Poland all over the world and with the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency.
